Monica Ungerleider, a popular piano teacher in Sudbury, has over thirty years of teaching experience. Monica offers one on one piano lessons for students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. She attracts students from Sudbury, Lincoln, Wayland, Concord, Weston, and other towns in Massachusetts.
Monica’s students range from beginners to those who are more musically advanced. Each lesson is given to match the student’s individual goals, strengths, and weaknesses. All are encouraged to search for their inner musical voices, while receiving a balanced training of technical and analytical piano playing. Lessons and recitals are held in an intimate setting on beautiful Boston and Steinway grand pianos.
”As a teacher, my goal is to inspire each student to fulfill his or her musical, artistic and expressive potential, and to ingrain a lifelong appreciation and love for music and the piano. I believe that the skill of solving difficult musical and technical problems at the piano can be applied to many other aspects in life. Music is a self-empowering tool for creativity. Becoming proficient at any instrument can have wide ranging effects across the educational, mental, emotional, social, and physical aspects of our lives.”
